PORT CLINTON AREA SPRING WALLEYE FISHING
April 1 through Late June
Lake Erie - Western Basin Fishing
Drifting and Pitch & Crank trips in the Western Basin can be very fruitful because of the numerous reefs and shoales that produce cover for spawning and feeding fish. Water depths in the western basin being shallower makes it easier to locate fish. Common species caught are Walleye, Yellow Perch and Smallmouth Bass.
