Ohio Fishing License Information

  • Resident Fishing License....................$25.00
  • One-Day Fishing License..................$14.00 The One-Day Fishing License may be exchanged for credit, minus writing fee, towards the purchase of an annual fishing license.
  • 3 Day Non-resident Tourist's License......$25.00
  • Annual Non-resident License................$40.00

A fishing license is required for persons age 16 and older.

Fishing License should be purchase the day before the morning of departure.

If you purchase a 1-day license do not sign it until the day of departure.

Those anglers who are age 66 and older may obtain a $10.00 license

directly from a fishing license vendor.

A reissued license may be obtained from any license vendor for a fishing license that has been lost, stolen, or destroyed. The cost is $3.00.

Licenses can be presented in a digital form (picture on your phone).

What To Bring Onboard

  • Soft-soled shoes
  • Remember ... Your Valid Ohio fishing license (You are required to purchase of a fishing license prior to your arrival)
  • Hat
  • Jacket
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunblock or suntan lotion
  • Camera
  • Large coolers for taking fish home, must be left in vehicle
  • Lunch and beverages (beer O.K.. no hard liquor or wine)
  • No glass bottles
  • Motion sickness pills if needed (For those subject to motion sickness)
  • Remember to bring an extra lunch for the Captain or he will watch you take every bite

Any illegal drugs on board are PROHIBITED by Federal Law. The Captain is in full support of the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Customs Service. No drugs, in any quantity are permitted on board.
All drugs will be reported to the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. customs.

Fishing Charter Policy

  • Deposit must be received within two weeks of booking trip.
  • A Full deposit will be refunded if the lake is too rough (Captain's discretion) or another date will be offered or with two weeks notice of cancellation prior to charter.
    Balance of payment is due at the dock before leaving.
  • For your own safety, the Captain's word is final!
  • You are required to purchase of a fishing license prior to your arrival.
  • Due to High Fuel cost, charter rate may fluctuate.
